Toxicological profile of the substance:

None of the ingredients used by the manufacturer are on the list of substances for which use in cosmetic products is prohibited (Annex II: Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of November 30, 2009 on cosmetic products. In the case of cosmetic products for ingredient evaluation uses ‚Margin of Safety’ (MoS). This ingredient safety evaluation index is obtained by dividing the highest NO (A) EL value by the calculated SED value. To evaluate a substance as safe, MoS must be at least 100. For raw materials used in most cases NO (A) EL values ​​are not available. Therefore, other information on sensitization effects of the ingredients and on the bioavailability of the cosmetic product is used for assessment. Information on possible effects on the skin and mucous membranes has been included. For cosmetic products for which NOAEL values ​​are known, MoS value has been calculated.
